Pan Am Info

   The Pan American Games are the worlds 3rd largest international multi sport games.

    The first Pan Am Games were held in Argentina in 1951, the Pan Am Games are held every 4 years. Always held on the year right before the Summer Olympics. The Pan Am Games have been held in America a dozen of times, Canada has held the Pan Am Games twice in 1967 and 1999 and both held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and now Canada is getting the third chance to host the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. This year there is about 7000 athletes from Latin America, South America, Caribbean and North America. 

   There are 36 Pan Am Sports   Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, BMX, Bowling, Boxing, Canoe/ Kayak Slalom, Canoe/ Kayak Sprint, Cycling (road), Cycling (track), Diving, Equestrian, Fencing, Field Hockey, Soccer, Golf, Gymnastics (Artistic), Gymnastics (Rhythmic), Handball, Judo, Karate, Modern Pentathlon, Mountain Bike, Open water swimming, Racquetball, Roller Figure skating, Roller Speed Skating, Rowing, Rugby Sevens, Sailing, Shooting, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Trampoline, Triathlon, Volleyball, Water Polo, Waterski & Wakeboard, Weightlifting and Wrestling
