Volleyball
History:
Volleyball is a sport that was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan. It was announced as Olympics first sport in 1964.
Name:
Volleyball’s original name was called mintonette but then changed into volleyball. It got its name from you volley the ball, the ball is shaped like a sphere
High Scores:
Volleyball is known as the sixth most popular sport in the world today. The longest recorded game was 75 hours and 30 minutes, taken place in North Carolina.
How To Play:
Volleyball is played by 2 teams with 6 people on each team. In order to win you have to send the ball over the net, so that the opposing team cannot return the ball or stop it from hitting the ground in their court.
Equipment:
For this sport you don’t need as much equipment as you would need for hockey or football. All you need are sports clothing and proper shoes, you don’t need a helmet or huge protection. But you will need a net and a volleyball.

Football
What is Football
Football, a full contact contest where two teams try to pass to the other side, carrying a football and force the ball toward their opponents end zone. Football is one of the most aggressive sports in the world. In football each team is divided into three units offense, defense and special teams.
How To Play/Rules
You carry a football to the opposition’s end zone and you get a point. Penalties are given when rules are broken. Players are not allowed to push an opponent on the back, hold a player other than the ball carrier, or illegally obstruct a player.
Football field
A football field is 100 yards long (110m)with an end zone at each end.
History
Back then players were paid only $10 to play in a game in 1895. When Super Bowl 1 was on the lowest ticket price was only $6. The first football game played was November 6th 1869.
